About the Team

The Control & Transport Solutions team develops mission-critical software that supports the production of trucks, engines, and gearboxes within Volvo’s manufacturing network. The team works close to the factory floor, ensuring operational reliability, quality, and performance. Their focus on continuous improvement ensures seamless production and innovation across the Volvo Group’s global operations.

The Role

As an Associate Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, actively contribute to agile development processes, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize both technical solutions and work practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable software applications.
  • Contribute to all phases of the product lifecycle, from design to delivery.

    • Blazor or similar front-end frameworks
    • RESTful APIs
    • Entity Framework
    • Agile/Scrum development

Preferred Experience

  • Prior exposure to the automotive or manufacturing industry is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Swedish.
  • Experience in version control and collaborative software development environments.
