💼 About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development of cloud-native APIs and highly scalable distributed systems supporting Mitek’s trust platform infrastructure.
You will work closely with engineering, DevOps, CloudOps, and product teams to design, build, deploy, and maintain production-ready services using modern cloud technologies and microservices architectures.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex scalability challenges, working with cloud platforms, and building secure enterprise-grade systems.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable API and cloud-based solutions
- Build and maintain microservices and serverless applications
- Deploy and support applications on AWS infrastructure
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams
- Write automated unit, integration, and performance tests
- Maintain internal and public API documentation
- Participate in Agile and Scrum development workflows
- Support CI/CD and continuous delivery processes
- Assist with troubleshooting and production support activities
✅ Requirements & Skills
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience building applications on AWS cloud infrastructure
- Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems
- Experience with CI/CD systems and DevOps workflows
- Familiarity with Docker container technologies
- Experience writing automated testing frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in Agile environments
- Strong communication and technical documentation skills

- Golang programming experience
- Experience with:

- EKS
- Lambda
- API Gateway
- Terraform

- Database experience with MongoDB, DynamoDB, or RDS
