About the Job
The Process Engineering Specialist will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our drilling operations. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of process engineering principles and a proven track record in the oil and gas industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Technical Authority for process and safety engineering activities.
- Perform process calculations, simulations, and heat and material balances.
- Develop process flow diagrams and specifications.
- Review and comment on documents from licensors and vendors.
- Interact with other engineering disciplines.
- Contribute to the development of standardized tools and procedures.
- Conduct technical evaluations and follow-up on engineering projects.
- Monitor and control engineering performance.
- Recommend corrective actions and modifications.
- Conduct analysis and troubleshooting.
- Assist projects and operations personnel.
- Prepare technical specifications.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.
- At least 15 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Chartered Engineer or equivalent.
- Proficient in process simulation software.
- Experience in feasibility/conceptual study, FEED, EPC, commissioning, and/or operations.
- Work experience in major offshore brownfield projects is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of engineering systems, calculations, methods, and materials.
- Familiarity with applicable local and international codes and standards.
