Technical Content Engineer – DevOps & Platform Engineering (Remote)
SuperPlane is looking for a Technical Content Engineer to create practical technical content that demonstrates real-world DevOps and platform engineering workflows using its open-source control plane. This role combines hands-on engineering, technical writing, and content distribution to help developers understand how the platform solves operational challenges.
Working alongside the product team, you will build working demonstrations, publish educational content, and share it across developer communities where infrastructure and platform engineers actively engage.
Job Overview
This position is responsible for creating technical use cases, writing tutorials and documentation, building runnable examples, and distributing content that increases product awareness and user adoption. Success is measured by useful technical content, consistent publishing, improved documentation, and growth in organic traffic and product signups.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop practical DevOps and platform engineering use cases using SuperPlane.
- Build working demonstrations, integrations, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration examples.
- Create technical blog posts, tutorials, how-to guides, and documentation.
- Translate complex engineering workflows into practical content for technical audiences.
- Publish content on the company blog and distribute it through relevant developer communities.
- Share content across platforms including Reddit, Hacker News, DevOps Slack communities, and social media.
- Collaborate with the product team to identify valuable engineering workflows and content opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation.
- Help reduce support requests through improved documentation and educational resources.
Required Qualifications
- Background in DevOps or Platform Engineering.
- Experience managing deployments and building CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience using Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar infrastructure tools.
- Ability to build working code examples, integrations, and deployment pipelines.
- Experience writing technical documentation, tutorials, or engineering-focused content.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Product-focused mindset with the ability to identify practical engineering use cases.
- Self-directed work style with the ability to identify new content opportunities independently.
- Daily experience using AI tools for coding, writing, prototyping, or development workflows.
- Comfortable working asynchronously within a distributed remote team.
Success Measures
- Build a growing collection of working demonstrations with runnable code and configurations.
- Publish at least one substantial technical article each week.
- Create content that contributes to organic traffic and product signups.
- Maintain documentation that helps reduce customer support requests.

Compensation & Benefits
SuperPlane offers an early-stage startup compensation package that includes salary and significant equity. The company also supports remote work and contributes toward co-working space costs where needed.
Work Arrangement
This is a full-time remote position open to candidates located across Europe and the Americas. Team collaboration is centered between GMT-5 and GMT+3, covering the U.S. East Coast through Europe.
