Acute Wound Healing Specialist
Solventum is seeking an Acute Wound Healing Specialist to support hospitals and healthcare professionals throughout the Nashville, Tennessee territory. This remote, field-based position combines clinical expertise with consultative sales to help healthcare providers improve wound healing outcomes using Solventum’s advanced solutions.
You will serve as a trusted clinical resource, educate healthcare professionals, support product adoption, strengthen customer relationships, and help healthcare organizations improve patient care while achieving territory growth objectives.
Job Overview
As an Acute Wound Healing Specialist, you will partner with hospital clinicians, surgeons, and healthcare decision-makers to support the safe and effective use of Solventum wound care products. You will provide clinical education, assist with product implementation, support therapy adoption, and manage customer relationships throughout your assigned territory.
This role combines territory management, clinical consultation, customer education, and business development while collaborating closely with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary clinical and consultative resource for hospital wound care customers.
- Provide guidance on the safe and effective use of Solventum wound care products.
- Attend clinical procedures and product placement activities within hospital settings.
- Manage customer accounts and assigned territory to achieve established sales objectives.
- Identify customer clinical, operational, and financial priorities and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Deliver product education, in-service training, and ongoing clinical support for healthcare professionals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clinical leaders and economic decision-makers.
- Use clinical and economic evidence to support therapy adoption and new product implementation.
- Influence stakeholders involved in product evaluation and purchasing decisions.
- Provide responsive customer service and resolve product-related questions.
- Utilize company software for planning, opportunity management, and utilization tracking.
- Represent Solventum at conferences, trade shows, educational meetings, and professional events.
- Complete required sales training and maintain proficiency with company products and processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 24 months of sales or clinical experience; or
- High School Diploma or GED with at least 48 months of sales or clinical experience.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Current valid driver’s license.
- Ability to successfully satisfy vehicle-related employment requirements.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to educate healthcare professionals and explain clinical solutions.
- Experience managing customer accounts or assigned territories.
- Ability to work independently while achieving business objectives.

- Demonstrated history of achieving sales quotas or performance goals.
- Medical device or wound care sales experience.
- Experience working with surgeons and hospital clinical decision-makers.
- Territory management and business planning experience.
- Understanding of clinical value drivers across healthcare settings.

- Experience managing complex healthcare sales cycles.
- Completion of a formal sales training program.
- Experience using Salesforce or comparable CRM software.

Work Arrangement
- Full-time remote field position based in Nashville, Tennessee.
- Field-based role supporting hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout the assigned territory.
- Up to 20% overnight travel depending on territory requirements.
- Use of a personal vehicle is required through Solventum’s Fixed and Variable Reimbursement (FAVR) program.
- Relocation assistance may be available for eligible candidates.
Compensation and Benefits
The expected annual compensation range for this position is $126,400 to $173,800. Eligible employees may also receive variable incentive compensation where applicable.
