Autodesk is seeking a skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to strengthen its localization capabilities. This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining scalable localization tools and processes that enhance the global user experience. Day-to-Day Activities
The Software Engineer will develop and maintain tools, automated workflows, and documentation to support scalable software localization and testing. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver localized products, evaluate applications for international readiness, and enhance globalization strategies. This role involves optimizing processes, ensuring high-quality international user experiences, and providing technical support to supplier engineering teams. Staying informed about emerging trends and technologies is crucial for anticipating future localization needs.
Skills That Count
Key competencies include proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Scala, JavaScript), experience with microservices architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), process automation, workflow optimization, and familiarity with databases and localization tools. Adaptability, collaboration, and strong problem-solving skills are critical for success. Exposure to AI/ML technologies is considered a plus.
Academic & Professional Profile
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, along with at least two years of experience in web or cloud application development. Knowledge of internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n) for desktop, web, and mobile applications is essential.
