About the Opportunity

As eBay continues to revolutionize digital commerce, eBay Live has emerged as a dynamic new way for sellers and buyers to connect — through real-time video interactions. Within this innovative space, the Live Category Manager – Collectibles will play a central role in expanding eBay’s Collectibles category, helping sellers engage audiences through interactive live streams and driving measurable business growth.

What the Role Involves

The Live Category Manager will be responsible for shaping and executing the category strategy for eBay Live’s Collectibles segment. It includes:

  • Delivering ambitious GMV targets and ensuring strong sales growth within the Collectibles category.
  • Partnering with the Category Lead to design and refine playbooks that guide sellers toward success.
  • Selecting and onboarding new sellers, ensuring a seamless transition to eBay Live.
  • Leading category programming with cross-functional teams to optimize live event performance and content.
  • Supporting business development initiatives by meeting sellers, crafting pitches, and forming strategic collaborations.
  • Providing hands-on mentorship to sellers — advising on assortment, hosting, production, and marketing tactics.
  • Developing scalable processes and tools that help the eBay Live platform expand efficiently.
