About the Role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing mechanical components and systems used in advanced applications. You will work across the full product lifecycle—from concept development to validation—collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects involving simulation systems, test rigs, and precision-engineered hardware.
Key Responsibilities
- Design mechanical systems and components using CAD tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
- Develop 3D models, technical drawings, and engineering documentation
- Collaborate with R&D and simulation teams to align designs with system requirements
- Support manufacturing processes with design-for-manufacturability (DFM) principles
- Conduct simulations such as FEA and thermal analysis to validate designs
- Review and refine designs based on testing feedback and performance data
- Participate in concept development and engineering discussions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes
Requirements / Skills
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and systems
- Hands-on experience with prototyping or fabrication (e.g., 3D printing, CNC)
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
- Experience with engineering simulations (FEA, thermal analysis)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Passion for building, testing, and improving mechanical systems
