Position Overview

The English-speaking HR Specialist in Shared Service supports employees throughout their lifecycle at Ford by providing guidance on HR matters and completing administrative tasks within internal systems. The role ensures exceptional customer service via phone and chat support, transactional processes, and proactive employee assistance. This position works closely with managers, HR teams, and government agencies to maintain seamless HR operations.

Key Areas of Impact

  • Provide comprehensive support to employees, dependents, managers, HR management, government agencies, and job applicants.
  • Accurately complete HR transactions while addressing employee inquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Draft employment-related documents aligned with country-specific legal requirements.
  • Document all transactions, inquiries, and resolutions in the HR Contact Center case management system.
  • Meet and strive to exceed HR Contact Center Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Escalate complex requests promptly when additional research or analysis is required.
  • Ensure compliance through transaction audits and maintain data quality in HR systems.
  • Serve as a process expert, supporting complex cases and onboarding new joiners.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to enhance employee experience and support process-related meetings.
  • Identify risks, process gaps, and improvement opportunities, coordinating with relevant teams.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of processes across teams and facilitate inter-team information flow.
  • Assist in operational planning, workload management, and KPI tracking.
  • Identify recurring patterns and act with supervisory guidance when needed.
  • Lead or participate in projects contributing to departmental growth and annual targets.
  • Support supervisors in daily operations and act as a backup when necessary.
  • Serve as a role model in professionalism and service excellence.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by line management.

Candidate Background

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, data processing, or HR.
  • Strong familiarity with contact center technology and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Ability to identify recurring issues and suggest process or training improvements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive approach.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to provide high-quality customer service professionally, even in challenging situations.
  • Team-oriented mindset and adaptability to diverse audiences and scheduling needs.
