Role Overview
The Diffusion Process Technician – Nights plays a vital role in maintaining production equipment that supports 24/7 foundry operations. This position requires technical expertise, strong problem-solving ability, and a commitment to operational excellence. While working in a dynamic cleanroom environment, the technician will encounter complex technical challenges that foster skill development and continuous learning.
All positions at SAS are full-time and on-site.
Core Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance and Operations
- Follow established SOPs, PTPs, and Out-of-Control Action Plans to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities, including mechanical assembly and disassembly of fabrication equipment.
- Maintain production tools to support uninterrupted manufacturing processes.
Technical Troubleshooting
- Apply structured problem-solving methods to resolve complex equipment issues.
- Collaborate with engineers and leadership to implement impactful technical solutions.
Team Collaboration and Communication
- Communicate effectively with engineers, supervisors, and peers.
- Work closely with team members in a cleanroom environment while wearing full cleanroom attire.
Night Shift Schedule
This position operates on a rotating night schedule:
- B Shift: Sunday through Tuesday (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) with alternating Saturdays
- D Shift: Wednesday through Friday (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) with alternating Saturdays

Education and Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma

Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is $18.60 per hour to $60.40 per hour. Individual compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, skill set, responsibilities, and work location.
