About the Opportunity
Nokia is inviting applications for the position of Corporate Legal Trainee, beginning in mid-December for a six-month fixed-term traineeship. The Role at a Glance
The Legal Trainee will assist Nokia’s global legal team in managing contract signing processes, reviewing governance documents, and maintaining corporate legal compliance. The position provides an ideal environment for law students seeking to develop practical legal expertise in a multinational setting.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist global stakeholders in the end-to-end contract signing process.
- Handle inquiries related to sales contract management and administration.
- Support corporate entity management and contribute to assigned legal projects.
Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a motivated law student eager to deepen their understanding of international corporate law.
Required Competencies
- 1–3 years of university-level law studies with basic knowledge of contract law.
- Strong command of English and Finnish (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in Microsoft O365 tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, initiative, and reliability.
Preferred Attributes
- Adaptable mindset with a proactive, can-do approach.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Prior experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Note: Applicants must hold an active student status in Finland during the traineeship period.
