Role Overview

Transurban is seeking a skilled AEM Developer to design, develop, and enhance its Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platforms that power the company’s digital presence. The successful candidate will join the Digital Web Services team, a collaborative and innovative environment focused on modern engineering practices, continuous improvement, and impactful digital solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain AEM components, templates, and integrations in alignment with Transurban and AEMaaCS standards.
Deliver high-quality software using Agile and DevOps methodologies, supporting continuous integration and delivery.
Collaborate with business and technology teams to clarify requirements, assess impacts, and implement solutions.
Diagnose and resolve system issues, coordinating with security teams and third-party vendors when necessary.
Mentor team members and contribute to process improvement initiatives across the digital engineering function.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Required Skills & Experience:

Hands-on experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) and headless CMS implementations.
Strong technical knowledge of AEM, including JCR API, Sling Models, OSGi, HTL, and Touch UI dialogs.
Proficiency in Java and experience with the JUnit testing framework.
Experience integrating AEM with RESTful APIs and cloud services like AWS.
Familiarity with DevOps tools, Cloud Manager pipelines, and troubleshooting DevOps configurations.
Knowledge of the React JavaScript framework is advantageous.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative, results-driven approach.
