Faire is hiring a Senior Manager, Global Equity to own and continue evolving its global equity programs as the company strengthens the structure, controls, and scalability required for public-company readiness.

This is a remote U.S. role limited to specified eligible locations. The position provides end-to-end ownership across equity plan administration, accounting, compliance, systems, employee experience, public-company readiness, regulatory requirements, and cross-functional equity operations.

The Senior Manager, Global Equity will serve as the senior owner of Faire’s equity operations, managing global programs across the full equity lifecycle while developing audit-ready processes, systems, controls, and compliance practices that can scale with the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and scale Faire’s global equity programs from end to end.
  • Manage equity plan design, administration, accounting, compliance, and employee experience across award types and jurisdictions.
  • Serve as the senior owner of equity operations.
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, Payroll, Legal, and People teams to develop durable and audit-ready processes.
  • Lead public-company equity responsibilities, including SEC reporting support.
  • Support insider trading programs and audit readiness.
  • Design and operate equity-related internal controls.
  • Oversee the complete equity lifecycle, including grant issuance, vesting, exercises, and releases.
  • Manage share pools and related equity reconciliations.
  • Maintain reconciliations between the equity platform and general ledger.
  • Design, implement, and optimize equity systems and workflows.
  • Manage Shareworks or equivalent integrations with payroll, HRIS, and financial reporting systems.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and escalation point for complex employee, executive, and stakeholder equity matters.
  • Manage global regulatory, tax, and compliance risk proactively.
  • Partner with Legal and external advisors to keep equity programs compliant as Faire expands internationally.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Law, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in stock plan administration.
  • Leadership experience within complex or high-growth environments.
  • Deep expertise in global equity programs.
  • Hands-on knowledge of legal, tax, and payroll considerations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Experience designing and implementing an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
  • Proven experience scaling equity programs through private-to-public readiness or within public-company operations.
  • Advanced analytical and systems skills.
  • Expertise with Shareworks or an equivalent equity platform.
  • Ability to influence cross-functionally without direct authority.
  • Experience working with senior leaders.
  • Ability and willingness to remain hands-on with operational work.

Compensation

Faire provides location-based annual base salary ranges for this position:

  • California & New York: $184,000–$253,000 USD per year.
  • Zone B: $165,500–$227,500 USD per year.
  • Zone C: $147,000–$202,500 USD per year.

Actual base pay is determined using permissible factors including transferable skills, work experience, market conditions, and primary work location. This position is also eligible for equity and benefits.

Remote Work
