Remote Developer Relations Content Creator (DevOps & Open Source)

SuperPlane is looking for a Developer Relations Content Creator to help developers discover, understand, and successfully use its open-source platform. This is a full-time remote opportunity for someone with a DevOps or platform engineering background who enjoys creating technical content, building real-world examples, and engaging with developer communities.

In this role, you’ll turn product features into practical tutorials, blog articles, demo videos, and hands-on guides that help engineers solve real infrastructure challenges. You’ll work closely with the engineering team, build working projects, and explain technical concepts in a clear and engaging way.

You’ll also become an active member of developer communities by answering questions, participating in discussions, and sharing educational resources across platforms such as Discord, Reddit, Hacker News, and other technical communities. Occasionally, you’ll represent SuperPlane at conferences and meetups.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create technical tutorials, blog posts, documentation, and developer guides.
  • Produce product demonstrations, walkthroughs, screencasts, and educational videos.
  • Build practical DevOps use cases and working code examples.
  • Showcase real deployment workflows using modern infrastructure tools.
  • Participate in developer communities and answer technical questions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to explain new product capabilities.
  • Research developer challenges and create educational content around them.
  • Support product awareness through helpful, non-promotional technical content.
  • Attend conferences or community events when required.
  • Use AI tools to improve research, development, and content production workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • Practical experience with DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
  • Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD, Kubernetes, Terraform, cloud infrastructure, or related technologies.
  • Ability to write clean technical documentation and tutorials.
  • Experience creating technical videos or educational content.
  • Comfortable writing code and building working software examples.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern developer workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Developer Relations or Developer Advocacy experience.
  • Contributions to open-source projects.
  • Experience speaking at technical conferences or community events.
  • Strong interest in developer experience and cloud-native technologies.
