About the Role
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will work across both platform development and infrastructure operations. This includes building backend features, managing automation systems, and ensuring high availability across large-scale production environments.
You will collaborate directly with leadership, taking ownership of key systems and contributing to architectural decisions without layers of management overhead.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automation systems for provisioning, deployment, scaling, and backups
- Manage and optimize Linux-based production infrastructure
- Develop and enhance backend features using Symfony/PHP
- Handle complex production issues and system escalations
- Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
- Work on database and web server optimization (PostgreSQL, Nginx)
- Collaborate on infrastructure architecture and platform improvements
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
Requirements / Skills
- Strong experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE roles
- Deep knowledge of PHP and Symfony framework
- Expertise in Linux system administration at scale
- Hands-on experience with Ansible and infrastructure automation
- Experience with PostgreSQL and Nginx performance optimization
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment systems
- Proficiency in Python for automation tasks
- Ability to troubleshoot across multiple layers (application, database, infrastructure)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in small, fast-moving teams
