About the Role
As an Account Executive focused on Optimized Checkout, you will lead strategic sales efforts to expand Stripe’s payment solutions across enterprise and platform customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and marketing to deliver tailored solutions and drive revenue growth.
This role requires both business and technical understanding, allowing you to guide customers through complex purchasing decisions and demonstrate the value of Stripe’s payment products.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding existing accounts
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans to build a strong sales pipeline
- Build relationships with senior decision-makers and key stakeholders
- Lead product discussions and present tailored payment solutions to customers
- Collaborate with internal teams to align product capabilities with customer needs
- Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to improve offerings
- Contribute to go-to-market strategies and sales playbooks
- Manage and close complex sales deals in competitive environments
Requirements / Skills
- 7+ years of customer-facing experience in sales, preferably in technology or payments
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong ability to build relationships with executive-level stakeholders
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and negotiations
- Understanding of technical solutions and ability to communicate value clearly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
