About the Role
As an Analytics Engineer, you will be part of the data team responsible for building and maintaining the company’s analytics data layer. You will work closely with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and actionable.
This role focuses on designing scalable data models, building ETL pipelines, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Data Engineering & Pipeline Development
- Build and maintain data pipelines using SQL and Python-based ETL frameworks
- Extract and process data from internal systems and third-party sources
- Ensure reliable data flow into analytics and reporting systems
Data Modeling & Architecture
- Design and optimize data models for analytics and business intelligence
- Maintain clean, well-documented datasets for easy consumption
- Ensure high performance and scalability of data warehouse systems
Collaboration & Stakeholder Support
- Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams to understand data needs
- Translate business requirements into technical data solutions
- Support stakeholders with data access and insights
AI & Data Optimization
- Enable AI-assisted analytics by designing data models optimized for LLM usage
- Standardize naming conventions and documentation for better usability
- Support advanced analytics and experimentation initiatives
Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Troubleshoot and debug data pipeline issues
- Participate in on-call rotations to maintain system reliability
- Continuously improve data quality and performance
Requirements / Skills
- 2+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar roles
- Strong expertise in SQL and proficiency in Python
- Experience with data transformation tools such as dbt or Databricks
- Experience working with large datasets and building data models
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with tools like Airflow, Redshift, Kafka, or Fivetran
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Looker, Mixpanel, or similar platforms
- Experience working with event data or experimentation frameworks
- Knowledge of AI/LLM data structures and analytics workflows
