About the Role

As a Senior Policy Manager, you will shape and execute policy strategies related to AI governance and data privacy in the United States. You will work with government stakeholders, industry partners, and internal technical teams to ensure alignment between regulatory developments and technology innovation.

This role combines policy expertise with technical understanding, making it ideal for professionals who can translate complex regulations into actionable insights.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute U.S. policy strategies for AI and data privacy initiatives
  • Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments
  • Build relationships with policymakers, agencies, and industry stakeholders
  • Represent the organization in policy forums and consultations
  • Translate regulatory requirements into guidance for technical teams
  • Create policy briefs, research papers, and strategic recommendations
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align policy with technology development
  • Support global policy alignment and cross-functional initiatives

Requirements / Skills

  • 3–5 years of experience in U.S. technology policy or regulatory roles
  • Strong understanding of legislative processes and policy frameworks
  • Experience in policy advocacy and stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into policy insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interest in AI, privacy, and open-source technologies
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in public policy, law, or a related field
  • Familiarity with privacy-preserving technologies or AI systems
  • Experience working with open-source or research communities
