Role Overview
Visa is seeking a Head of Agile Product Delivery (Senior Director) to lead and scale Agile delivery capabilities across Data Science and Global Data Products. This role is central to strengthening the delivery of data- and AI-enabled products, ensuring disciplined, transparent, and commercially focused execution.
The position is responsible for building Agile delivery foundations from the ground up, while working closely with Product, Data Science, Engineering, Consulting, and global teams. Through strong leadership and collaboration, the role ensures that delivery execution supports speed-to-market, client outcomes, and enterprise standards.
Key Delivery and Strategic Focus Areas
1. Agile Delivery Operating Model
The role establishes and evolves an Agile product delivery operating model aligned with Visa’s governance, risk, and compliance frameworks. This includes defining delivery roles, responsibilities, ceremonies, and practical ways of working suited to a complex enterprise environment.
2. Delivery Capability and Leadership Development
A core focus is on developing delivery maturity across teams and leaders. Through training, coaching, and ongoing guidance, the role strengthens Agile and product-led delivery practices while embedding accountability and execution discipline.
3. Product and Commercial Execution
Client value, outcomes, and strategic impact drive delivery prioritization. The role ensures that delivery execution reflects a strong product and commercial mindset and connects initiatives directly to business value.
4. End-to-End Product Delivery Governance
The Head of Agile Product Delivery oversees end-to-end delivery execution, ensuring initiatives are delivered predictably and transparently. Clear governance, metrics, and reporting provide senior leadership with visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, and value realization.
5. Cross-Functional and Global Collaboration
The role partners closely with Product, Data Science, Engineering, Consulting, and Strategy teams to align delivery roadmaps with demand, capacity, and long-term objectives. Collaboration across global teams is essential to maintaining consistency and scalability.
6. Continuous Improvement and Change Leadership
Delivery effectiveness is continuously assessed and improved by identifying bottlenecks, improving flow, and strengthening execution practices. The role champions a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement while modeling modern delivery leadership.
7. Team Leadership and Organizational Enablement
The position builds and leads a high-performing Agile delivery leadership capability, including Product Delivery and Data Engineering-aligned delivery roles. Change management and organizational alignment are integral to sustained success.
Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is an experienced delivery leader with a strong understanding of Agile, product management, and enterprise-scale execution. They bring credibility, influence, and a commercial mindset, along with the ability to operate effectively in regulated and matrixed environments.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- At least 10 years of experience in delivery leadership roles such as Delivery Lead, Programme Delivery, or Product Delivery.
- Minimum of 5 years leading large-scale, cross-functional delivery initiatives.
- Previous experience establishing and scaling Agile delivery capabilities in complex organizations.
- Strong understanding of product management principles and how delivery enables client and business outcomes.
- Experience across Agile, hybrid, and traditional delivery models, applying the most appropriate approach for context.
- Background in delivering data, analytics, technology, or AI-enabled products.
- Demonstrated ability to align delivery priorities with commercial value.
- Experience working within enterprise or regulated environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.

Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid position. The hiring manager will confirm expectations regarding office days.
