Role Overview
The Employee Relations (ER) Manager for EMEA will lead a dedicated ER team based in Ireland, guiding operations across Ireland, the UK, France, Italy, and Luxembourg. This role is central to fostering a fair, inclusive, and empowering workplace culture. The ER Manager partners with regional leaders to maintain a consistent and transparent approach to employee relations, aligned with eBay’s values.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the ER team, promoting collaboration and standardized processes across Europe.
- Partner with leaders to address employee concerns promptly, fairly, and empathetically.
- Analyze people insights and data to identify trends, anticipate risks, and implement proactive solutions.
- Collaborate with HR and business teams to deliver initiatives that enhance eBay’s culture and employee experience.
- Build trusted partnerships with stakeholders at all levels, fostering open dialogue and inclusion.
- Champion eBay’s purpose and values, ensuring fairness and transparency in all decisions.
Perfect Candidate
- Minimum 5 years’ experience leading an employee relations function in a dynamic, multinational environment.
- Proven leadership in developing ER or HR professionals.
- Strong knowledge of European employment law, including experience with works councils and staff representatives.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills to build credibility across diverse teams.
- An analytical mindset to transform people’s data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated experience leading organizational change with empathy and resilience.
- Relevant HR, Employment Law, or related qualification.
