Role Overview
The Account Executive 3, Enterprise Direct Sales – Managed Solutions, is responsible for developing and expanding territories and driving sales of Comcast Business’s strategic products and solutions in new markets. This role focuses on acquiring and managing mid-market and enterprise commercial customers, including multi-location accounts, through both direct and partner channels. The position requires delivering live sales presentations, building strong client relationships, and representing the Comcast Business brand as a trusted solutions provider.
Key Responsibilities
- Territory Strategy & Development: Design and execute strategies for assigned sales territories, identify strategic partnerships, and cultivate local business and organizational relationships.
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Research and engage potential clients through cold calling, canvassing, referrals, and partner networks. Promote and position the Comcast brand effectively within the territory.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships, deliver face-to-face sales presentations, and sell complex solutions to exceed financial targets.
- Collaboration & Alignment: Work closely with internal teams and key Go-To-Market (GTM) partners to ensure consistent communication and operational efficiency.
- Customer Retention: Deliver a superior customer experience, drive client retention, and coordinate with internal teams to meet or exceed service expectations.
- Market Expertise: Stay informed about competitive products, emerging technologies, and trends to position Comcast Business solutions effectively.
- Technical Knowledge: Demonstrate familiarity with Network Design, SDWAN, Network Security, MAN technologies, VoIP, LAN/WAN/VPN, customer premise equipment, and business continuity concepts.
- Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate sales records, prepare reports, and demonstrate independent judgment in significant matters.
- Flexibility: Work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as required to meet client needs.
