Position Overview

SAP is seeking a highly skilled Executive Communications Specialist to manage and elevate the social media presence and broader communications of an Executive Board Member. This role requires strategic storytelling, content creation, and expertise in leadership communications. The ideal candidate will contribute to shaping SAP’s executive messaging and enhancing the visibility of Board-level priorities, internally and externally.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the Board Member’s LinkedIn presence, including editorial calendars, posting strategies, and engagement optimization.
  • Create engaging multimedia content reflecting SAP’s corporate vision, products, thought leadership, and executive priorities.
  • Monitor analytics to measure performance, optimize reach, and grow audience engagement.
  • Draft speeches, talking points, and scripts for internal and external communications.
  • Collaborate with designers and internal teams to produce visuals aligned with strategic messaging.
  • Plan and coordinate keynotes, presentations, and demonstrations, ensuring content alignment with internal stakeholders and customer-facing teams.
  • Support employee communications, including videos, emails, and corporate announcements.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all channels and campaigns by coordinating with internal departments.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in executive communications, with proven success in social media strategies for C-suite leaders.
  • Skills: Strong writing, storytelling, and content creation abilities; adaptable tone for diverse audiences.
  • Education: Master’s degree in communications, marketing, socio-political studies, or equivalent.
  • Languages: Fluent in German and English with excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Work Style: Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
