Role Summary
The Global Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Industry Lead, plays a critical role within Autodesk’s Global Acquisition and Performance Marketing organization. This position leads whole funnel digital acquisition and activation strategies for a specific Autodesk industry portfolio, including AEC, D and M, M and E, and AutoCAD.
The role focuses on driving scalable growth across global markets through paid media and third-party demand generation channels. It requires strong strategic thinking, hands-on execution expertise, and proven leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities and Strategic Focus
Global Acquisition Leadership
The role owns the global acquisition strategy, media mix, and investment model for the assigned industry. It ensures alignment between business goals and performance marketing execution while optimizing spend and outcomes across regions.
Industry and Campaign Collaboration
This position works closely with the Industry, Portfolio, and Emerging Business Marketing teams, as well as Global Campaigns and channel specialists. Together, they define audience strategy, value propositions, funnel objectives, and activation plans.
Integrated Digital Channel Execution
The role translates industry priorities into cohesive digital strategies across multiple channels, including:
- Search engine marketing on Google and Microsoft
- Paid social on LinkedIn, Meta, X, Reddit, and TikTok
- Display and programmatic media using DV360, The Trade Desk, YouTube, connected TV, and retargeting
- Affiliate marketing programs
- Review platforms such as G2, Gartner, and TrustRadius
- Content syndication and high-quality lead programs
- Third-party email and lead generation vendors
- Digital out of home and out of home advertising
Performance Planning and Governance
The role leads forecasting, scenario planning, and budget recommendations in collaboration with APM leadership. It also provides hands-on oversight to ensure accurate tracking, tagging, execution quality, and compliance with Autodesk governance standards.
Team and Agency Leadership
This position guides agencies and internal specialists while influencing cross-functional stakeholders globally. It supports execution excellence across all paid media and demand generation initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Required Experience and Skills
- More than 10 years of experience in digital marketing, performance media, or acquisition marketing
- Proven experience across paid search, paid social, programmatic media, video, affiliate marketing, retargeting, and emerging platforms.
- Strong background in content syndication, review site strategy, and third-party lead generation
- Experience with high-quality lead programs and demand generation vendors
- Advanced analytical capabilities with CRM and marketing automation tools such as Salesforce and Marketo
- Ability to resolve tracking, attribution, and measurement challenges
- Demonstrated success in leading agencies and influencing cross-functional teams
- Prior experience managing or mentoring team members
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data for senior stakeholders
Preferred Background
- Experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or Autodesk-related industries
- Understanding of customer data platforms, privacy compliance, and data governance
- Exposure to marketing mix modeling, multi-touch attribution, and an advanced measurement framework.
- Knowledge of global marketing execution, localization, and regional media nuances
