Product Manager – Marketplace & AI Workflows

Job Overview

The Product Manager will combine product discovery, data analysis, business judgment, technical collaboration, and delivery ownership to build products and workflows that improve measurable business outcomes across Lemon.io’s client-side marketplace experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve how Lemon.io works with customers through product development.
• Build and improve billing, customer experience, and operations tooling.
• Own product areas from initial concept through delivery.
• Define success criteria and measurable outcomes before developing specifications.
• Lead product discovery through user interviews, data analysis, competitive research, and hypothesis validation.
• Work hands-on with AI agents to automate and improve product workflows.
• Prioritize product opportunities and decide what should be built, postponed, or discontinued.
• Provide engineers with sufficient business and product context to make effective technical decisions.
• Run grooming and planning activities.
• Participate in and lead design reviews.
• Lead product demos and release notes.
• Collaborate closely with Product Design and Engineering.
• Ship product improvements quickly and iterate based on results.
• Track and own the business metrics affected by assigned product areas.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of product management experience.
• Proven track record of making product decisions that directly affected measurable business metrics.
• Relevant metrics may include revenue, retention, conversion, and activation.
• Experience working in and with distributed, remote engineering teams.
• Solid English for regular collaboration with international stakeholders.
• Ability to connect product features and decisions with measurable business outcomes.
• Ability to simplify product problems rather than introduce unnecessary complexity.
• Proactive working style without requiring perfect specifications before making progress.
• Strong written communication suited to an asynchronous and distributed environment.
• Ability to hold productive technical conversations with software engineers.

AI & Product Workflows

The role includes hands-on work with AI agents to automate and improve product workflows. Lemon.io is looking for a Product Manager who can participate directly in this work rather than only providing high-level direction.

Product Ownership & Delivery

This is not described as a coordination-only Product Manager position. You will be expected to investigate underlying problems, challenge assumptions, define measurable outcomes, make prioritization decisions, and take responsibility for the business metrics affected by your product area.

You will work with Product Design and Engineering throughout discovery and delivery while giving engineers enough context to make informed decisions without unnecessary over-specification.

Remote Work

This is explicitly a fully remote position with flexible working hours. The engineering environment is distributed and async-first, making clear written communication an important part of the role.
