Job Description
We are seeking an organized and collaborative Scrum Master to support a remote Agile team.
As a Scrum Master, you will help teams plan and deliver work effectively by facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing blockers, improving team processes, and supporting collaboration between engineering, product, and other stakeholders.
You will help maintain productive Agile practices while encouraging transparency, accountability, continuous improvement, and effective communication across the team.
Candidates should have at least 24 months of experience in Scrum, Agile delivery, project coordination, software delivery, project management, or a related role.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Support teams throughout each sprint
- Help identify and remove delivery blockers
- Track commitments, dependencies, and team progress
- Encourage effective collaboration across remote teams
- Support backlog refinement with Product Owners and team members
- Help teams continuously improve their working processes
- Monitor Agile delivery metrics where appropriate
- Protect teams from unnecessary interruptions
- Communicate risks and delivery concerns to relevant stakeholders
- Help maintain clear documentation and action items
Qualifications
- Minimum 24 months of experience in Scrum, Agile delivery, project management, project coordination, or related work
- Good understanding of Scrum and Agile principles
- Experience facilitating team meetings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization and time-management abilities
- Ability to identify blockers and coordinate solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable supporting distributed teams in a remote environment
Preferred Skills
- Scrum Master certification such as PSM or CSM
- Experience supporting software-development teams
- Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tool experience
- Familiarity with Kanban
- Understanding of software-development workflows
- Experience working with Product Owners and engineering teams
Compensation
The expected compensation range is $85,000–$120,000 per year, depending on experience, location, responsibilities, and the employer’s compensation structure.
Remote Work
