How You Will Make a Difference
Reporting directly to the Head of Underwriting for Financial Lines in France, you will be empowered to take ownership of both new and renewal accounts. Your role will be an exciting mix of analytical expertise, relationship management, and strategic negotiation.
Your key responsibilities include
- Underwriting new and renewal accounts to achieve sustainable growth
- Negotiating participation, pricing, and terms with brokers
- Managing capacity with foresight and accountability
- Representing Allianz Commercial in the market with credibility and confidence
- Driving collaboration across functional areas such as Claims and Operations
- Building long-term relationships with brokers, clients, and risk managers

- Experience as a Financial Institutions Underwriter or Broker
- A completed professional insurance qualification or progress toward one
- Strong risk assessment capabilities
- Experience in creating and refining consistent wording
- Understanding of the policy administration cycle, including issuance, bookings, credit control, and cancellation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate others
- Strong analytical skills to interpret information and draw sound conclusions
