Marcallo con Casone, Italy – Nexi, a leading European PayTech company, is seeking a highly motivated Software Developer to join their IT team in Italy on a hybrid basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the forefront of developing software for payment card personalization within the Mercury Payments division.
As a key member of the team, you will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis and technical specification definition to development using .NET and C#, database design and management with Microsoft SQL Server, and the development and integration of microservices for enhanced system scalability. You will also be responsible for functional and non-functional testing, contributing to system deployment and configuration, and providing post-release support.
What you’ll do:
- Participate in requirement analysis and define technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain applications using .NET and C#.
- Design and manage databases on Microsoft SQL Server.
- Develop and integrate microservices for system scalability and modularity.
- Perform functional and non-functional tests to ensure software quality.
- Contribute to system deployment and configuration.
- Provide post-release support and maintenance.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in .NET and C# development.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and relational database management.
- Experience in developing and integrating microservices.
- Prior experience in creating WebAPIs.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of logging systems for application monitoring and debugging.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and autonomy.
- Good knowledge of the English language (preferred).
