This pivotal role focuses on enhancing how customers interact with Origin across all touchpoints, designing clear, accessible, and impactful content experiences.

The successful candidate will report to the Customer communications, Experience & Personalisation Lead and take an end-to-end approach to crafting communications.

What the Role Involves:

The Senior Designer will be instrumental in shaping the content that supports customers throughout their lifecycle with Origin, with a significant focus on service-related communications. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading Content Strategy: Designing and implementing content strategies across multiple channels to ensure clarity, engagement, and brand alignment.
  • Driving Best Practices: Collaborating with UX, design, business, and fulfilment teams to create modular, reusable, and scalable content.
  • Championing Content Operations: Optimising content delivery using CMS platforms (like WordPress) and tools such as Kraken, Braze, and Snowflake for seamless omnichannel communication.
  • Owning Key Communications: Managing service and mandatory communications, ensuring they meet regulatory standards while remaining customer-friendly.
  • Fostering Collaboration: Working closely with stakeholders across marketing, digital, product, and legal departments.

Who Origin is Looking For:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in customer communications or marketing leadership, delivering end-to-end content design across various channels.
  • Strong skills in collaborating with diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise with CMS platforms (publishing, editing, analytics) and SEO tools (like Yoast SEO).
  • Proficiency in UX writing, including microcopy, error messages, and calls-to-action (CTAs).
  • An understanding of audience segmentation and personalised content delivery.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital, or a related field is mandatory.
  • Experience with Martech platforms like Adobe Experience Platform and Braze is highly desirable.
