About the Opportunity
Cribl is hiring a Customer Support Manager to lead a highly technical support team serving enterprise customers across its telemetry and data platform.
This is a remote position within the United States. The role combines technical support leadership, escalation management, team coaching, operational process improvement, customer advocacy, and performance management.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage a technical customer support team.
- Own customer support escalations and help guide difficult technical situations toward resolution.
- Review support cases, operational metrics, and performance data to improve team effectiveness.
- Mentor and coach Support Engineers to strengthen technical and customer-facing performance.
- Advocate for both customers and support engineers across the organization.
- Create, maintain, and improve support processes and procedures.
- Build deep knowledge of Cribl products and help the team position solutions effectively.
- Ensure the team meets service-level agreements, customer satisfaction targets, and other support metrics.
- Participate in standby, on-call, or off-hours support duties as required.
Required Experience
Candidates need at least three years of experience leading a highly technical team and ten years of experience in customer-facing roles.
The role requires strong leadership, mentoring, communication, and technical problem-solving skills, together with the ability to guide engineers and customers through complex support situations.
Technical Background
Cribl is looking for candidates who understand large-scale data systems and the importance of enterprise data infrastructure.
Experience with technologies such as Cribl, Splunk, Elastic, Kafka, or Kinesis is considered advantageous.
Experience with major cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is also a plus.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $116,000 to $181,000 USD per year. Actual pay depends on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Cribl states that employees in non-sales roles may also participate in the company’s corporate bonus program. Benefits and equity are separate from the listed base salary.
