Customer Success Engineer – Federal & Public Sector (Remote US)

The Customer Success Engineer will combine technical expertise, customer advocacy, data-driven account management, and strategic advisory work to help federal and public-sector organizations continuously realize value from Cribl’s telemetry and observability solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted and strategic advisor to federal and public-sector customers.
- Drive the Customer Success lifecycle from onboarding through expansion.

- Represent customer requirements internally as the voice of the customer.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, Experience, and Engineering teams.
- Mentor, coach, and support other team members within the Customer Experience organization.
- Occasionally work outside standard working hours when collaboration across remote time zones requires it.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a related function.
- Direct customer advocacy and engagement experience in a post-sales environment.
- Federal or Public Sector customer experience.
- GovCloud or FedRAMP experience.
- Strong customer-success orientation and empathy for customer outcomes.
- Strong communication and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to manage customer expectations effectively and empathetically.
- Customer-facing presentation experience, including program reviews or similar engagements.
- Direct experience with observability technologies.
- Experience with logs and metrics.
- Knowledge of IT Operations and Security.
- Deep understanding of managing data pipelines throughout the data lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to develop new use cases that create additional product value.
- Strong technical problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to learn new technologies and environments quickly.
