Job Overview
SVB is seeking a skilled Data Governance Architect for a fully remote position available across multiple U.S. markets. This role is critical in enhancing enterprise data quality, governance, and analytics while ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Collibra, data stewardship, and AI-driven governance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Design and implement Collibra-based data governance frameworks
✔ Collaborate with data stewards to align governance with business goals
✔ Develop scalable solutions for metadata management, data lineage, and quality improvement
✔ Ensure regulatory compliance through robust data practices
✔ Leverage AI and ML to enhance governance efficiency
✔ Present strategic solutions to executive leadership
Qualifications & Requirements
✅ Bachelor’s degree + 4 years in Data Management, Finance, or related field (or HS Diploma + 8 years experience)
✅ Collibra Ranger certification required
✅ 10+ years in data management, with 5+ years in Data Governance
✅ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
✅ Experience in banking/finance (preferred)
Compensation & Benefits
💰 Base Salary: $120,000 – $180,000/year (based on experience & location)
