Role Overview

CVS Health is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative passionate about helping others. This role focuses on supporting customers with their benefits and claims, guiding them through available resources, and resolving inquiries with empathy and professionalism. The ideal candidate will foster trust, advocate for customers, and deliver an exceptional experience in every interaction.

Main Responsibilities

  • Actively listen to customers and guide them to meet their needs.
  • Resolve inquiries efficiently while documenting all interactions.
  • Educate customers on available benefits and assist in navigating options.
  • Anticipate needs and provide proactive solutions to enhance satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to improve service outcomes.
  • Maintain confidential records and follow organizational policies and procedures.

Performance Metrics

  • Customer satisfaction and resolution efficiency.

  • Attendance and adherence to scheduled work hours.

Support and Training

  • Comprehensive onboarding and role-specific training (4–18 weeks).

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of customer service experience.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Residency within the Pacific Standard Time Zone (or Mountain Time with the ability to work PST hours.
  • High-speed internet and flexibility to work specified hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years in a contact center environment (calls, chat, or email).
  • 1+ years in healthcare-related services, including claims, provider, dental, or medical experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
