The Role at a Glance
The Sales Manager – Biopharma will lead sales growth and market development across the US West Coast, Midwest, and Western Canada. This role focuses on advancing PSG Biotech solutions within the biopharmaceutical industry through technical expertise, strategic partnerships, and customer-focused initiatives. The position is entirely remote within California, with preference for candidates based near San Francisco, San Jose, Los Angeles, or San Diego.
Core Responsibilities
- Achieve incremental sales growth as outlined in the business plan.
- Develop and execute value-added sales strategies to drive long-term customer relationships.
- Develop a robust route-to-market model that incorporates OEM, direct, and representative channels.
- Lead specification initiatives through OEMs, system integrators, and engineering firms.
- Conduct regular market analyses to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Coordinate marketing, manufacturing, and technical support functions to ensure customer success.
- Lead trade show participation and develop impactful marketing collateral with internal teams.
- Identify acquisition opportunities and contribute to “Voice of the Customer” initiatives.
- Establish collaborations with leading biopharma academic institutions.
- Provide leadership and training to develop the next generation of biopharma sales talent.
Qualifications & Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a Science-related field.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience, with 3 years in the life sciences or biopharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record in selling pump, sensor, or control solutions for biopharma applications.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in dynamic environments.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while traveling up to 50% of the time.

Compensation & Benefits
- Annual Salary Range: $130,000 – $160,000
- Bonus Eligibility: Discretionary performance-based bonus
- Work Arrangement: Remote (within California)
