About the Role
As a Senior React Developer, you will design and enhance the frontend of MapTiler’s server platform, enabling customers to manage mapping infrastructure within their own environments. You will also work with AI-assisted tools and agent-based workflows to accelerate development and improve code quality.
This role combines modern frontend engineering with emerging AI-driven development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain frontend applications using React and modern frameworks
- Build user interfaces for managing and configuring mapping infrastructure
- Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and services
- Use AI tools and agent-based workflows to enhance development processes
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Participate in code reviews and improve team code quality
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing across teams
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams on feature development
Requirements / Skills
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development using React
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience building complex user interfaces and technical dashboards
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools or agent workflows
- Strong attention to detail and code quality
- Experience working in collaborative development environments
- Ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest in geospatial or mapping technologies
- Full-stack development experience
- Experience building developer tools or admin dashboards
- Familiarity with Agile development practices
