About the Role
As a Quantitative Risk Analyst, you will play a critical role in monitoring trading activity and identifying potential risks in real time. You will work closely with trading and risk teams to analyze market behavior, detect anomalies, and improve risk detection systems.
This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of financial markets, and an interest in cryptocurrency derivatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor derivatives and margin trading activity for unusual patterns
- Identify potential risks such as market manipulation or liquidation events
- Develop and enhance risk models, dashboards, and alert systems
- Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and trading anomalies
- Prepare and deliver risk reports to internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with teams to improve risk monitoring tools
- Explore AI and automation solutions for risk detection
- Stay updated on market trends, news, and crypto developments
- Implement and maintain risk management policies
Requirements / Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Financial Engineering, or related field
- Strong interest in cryptocurrency and derivatives markets
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret market data and identify trends
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends
- Knowledge of DeFi and crypto markets is a plus
- Experience with AI or automation tools is a plus
