About the Role
As Director of Business Operations, you will work closely with executive leadership to drive strategic planning, operational execution, and business performance. You will act as a key operator, leading critical initiatives and ensuring alignment across teams.
This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, making it ideal for someone who thrives in high-impact, fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Lead company-wide planning cycles, including annual strategy and quarterly OKRs
- Translate high-level goals into measurable outcomes and execution plans
- Drive accountability and performance tracking across teams
Executive Operations & Leadership Support
- Prepare executive and board-level reports and insights
- Manage operating cadence, including leadership reviews and planning sessions
- Support senior leadership in decision-making and strategic alignment
Cross-Functional Initiatives
- Lead high-priority business projects from concept to execution
- Collaborate with product, engineering, finance, and other teams
- Remove bottlenecks and ensure successful delivery of initiatives
Operational Excellence & Scaling
- Improve workflows, decision-making processes, and operational systems
- Build tools, frameworks, and playbooks to support scaling
- Partner with finance on resource allocation and business cases
Requirements / Skills
- 7+ years of experience in business operations, consulting, or corporate strategy
- Strong background in management consulting, investment banking, or tech startups
- Proven track record of delivering complex, high-impact initiatives
- Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling and SQL
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders across multiple teams
- Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced environments
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree
- Experience in fintech, identity verification, or cybersecurity
- Experience scaling companies or working in late-stage startups
- Familiarity with M&A, due diligence, or integration processes
