About the Role
As an Enterprise Account Executive (Southeast), you will own sales strategy and execution across a defined territory, focusing on acquiring new enterprise customers and expanding existing relationships. You will manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—while collaborating with marketing and technical teams.
This is a high-impact role suited for a results-driven sales professional with a strong background in enterprise software or infrastructure sales.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Execution & Revenue Growth
- Drive new business by acquiring enterprise customers and building a strong pipeline
- Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals
- Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, discovery, negotiation, and closing
Account Ownership & Territory Management
- Own key accounts within the Southeast region
- Develop and execute territory strategies to maximize growth
- Build long-term relationships with enterprise clients
Customer Engagement & Solution Selling
- Understand customer needs and position database solutions effectively
- Collaborate with sales engineering to deliver product demonstrations
- Provide tailored solutions aligned with client objectives
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with marketing teams to generate demand and leads
- Partner with internal teams to ensure successful deal execution
- Contribute insights to improve sales strategy and positioning
Requirements / Skills
- Proven experience in enterprise software sales, preferably in infrastructure or databases
- Strong full-cycle sales experience (pipeline generation to closing)
- Track record of closing large, enterprise-level deals
- Experience working with Fortune 500 or large enterprise clients
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling cloud databases or distributed systems
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL or modern data infrastructure technologies
- Background in high-growth SaaS or infrastructure startups
