About the Role:
As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including:
- Maintenance: Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance activities as per SAP work orders and providing accurate feedback.
- Inspection: Inspecting equipment in your assigned area, reporting any abnormalities to management, and recording them in logbooks and checklists.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving equipment breakdowns to minimize delays and unplanned shutdowns.
- Collaboration: Coordinating with other departments and working effectively as part of a team.
- Safety: Adhering to safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment and systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
