Role Summary
The Sales Manager, Digital Solutions, serves as a strategic commercial leader within FedEx’s Digital Portfolio. This role is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth across the Healthcare and B2B enterprise verticals — two of FedEx’s most pivotal markets.
As an evident, customer-facing position, the Sales Manager oversees a team of Account Executives (AEs), guiding them in building strong relationships with enterprise clients, implementing digital transformation solutions, and achieving aggressive growth targets.
Core Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Sales Strategy
- Lead, mentor, and expand a team of Account Executives within the Digital Solutions division.
- Drive hiring, onboarding, and performance management to foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Provide direction on deal structure, pricing, and negotiation to align with customer goals.
- Maintain a strong focus on pipeline management, forecast accuracy, and strategic execution.
Client Engagement & Relationship Building
- Build lasting partnerships with C-level executives and decision-makers within healthcare and B2B sectors.
- Leverage insights from customer interactions to guide solution development and enhance FedEx’s market presence.
- Ensure delivery of exceptional value through consultative selling and tailored digital solutions.
Operational Excellence & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal stakeholders — including Product Marketing, Commercialization, Transportation Sales, and Customer Technology teams — to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategies.
- Promote CRM discipline, MEDDPIC methodology, and data-driven decision-making across the team.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and best practices in digital solution sales.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales management, particularly in SaaS or digital software sales.
- Proven record of success in consultative enterprise sales.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of enterprise sales dynamics.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with MEDDPIC or similar sales qualification frameworks.
- Ability to lead teams through dynamic, high-growth environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, industrial, or manufacturing sectors.
- Understanding of customer success models such as Success Plans and Health Scoring.
- Prior experience in early-stage or high-growth SaaS account management.
Compensation & Work Structure
- Pay Range: $8,007.29 – $18,149.85 per month (U.S. range)
- Employment Type: Full-time, Regular Remote Worker
- Location: 40 FedEx Parkway, Collierville, TN 38017, United States (Remote Eligible Nationwide)
- Some in-office attendance may be required depending on the location.
