Santa Clara, CA – AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) is seeking a Senior Analog/Mixed-Signal (AMS) Circuit Architect to join its GDDR PHY System Architecture Team. This high-impact role offers a competitive salary range of $208,000 – $312,000 per year, with opportunities to shape next-gen computing technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design high-speed analog/mixed-signal circuits (32+ Gbps) for GDDR and SerDes PHYs
- Develop PAM3/PAM4 modulation, CTLE, DFE, and adaptive equalization techniques
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Firmware, SOC, DV) for system optimization
- Mentor junior engineers and lead circuit & layout development
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- PhD (preferred) or Master’s in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience
- Expertise in high-speed SerDes, GDDR, HBM, and D2D interfaces
- Strong knowledge of FinFET challenges & advanced CMOS technologies
- Self-driven, analytical, and excellent communicator
