Making a Real Impact on Travel:
As a pioneer in this role, you will play a crucial part in elevating the importance of user research within Amadeus. You will be responsible for setting up, conducting, and reporting on all aspects of qualitative and quantitative user research, driving the design and development of cutting-edge digital products for the hospitality industry. This includes mentoring designers and establishing research methodologies, all while collaborating with a global team.
Responsibilities:
- Champion user needs throughout the product development process.
- Mentor and educate team members on user research methodologies.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to define research objectives.
- Plan and conduct a variety of user research activities (interviews, surveys, usability testing, etc.).
- Analyze research data and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Create user personas, journey maps, and other UX artifacts.
- Communicate research findings effectively to cross-functional teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Influence the UX research strategy and roadmap.
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology, human-computer interaction, anthropology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a UX researcher with a strong portfolio.
- Deep understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Familiarity with research tools like UserTesting, UsabilityHub, and Dovetail.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
