Driving Growth Across the Central Region
Vehicle Service Group (VSG), a proud part of Dover Corporation’s Engineered Systems segment, is seeking a Regional Sales Specialist to lead and expand its Wheel Service division across the Central U.S. Known for its world-class brands—Rotary Lift®, Chief®, Forward®, Direct-Lift®, Ravaglioli, Hanmecson®, Revolution®, Elektron, Blitz, Nogra, Butler, Space, and Sirio—VSG continues to set the benchmark in vehicle lifting, diagnostics, and repair solutions.
This role offers an opportunity to combine strategic oversight, field leadership, and hands-on relationship building to strengthen VSG’s presence across multiple territories.
Role Overview
The Regional Sales Specialist will oversee all sales activities, targets, and distribution strategies within the assigned region. The individual will be responsible for boosting sales growth, profitability, and market share while ensuring distributors and accounts receive optimal support to achieve business goals.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead sales operations across several territories, setting and monitoring sales goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, national accounts, and end-users.
- Conduct regular field visits to support distributors and address product performance or application issues.
- Analyze regional business trends, market dynamics, and competitor movements to inform strategy.
- Identify, train, and develop new distribution partners when necessary.
- Utilize advanced sales automation tools and software (Salesforce, Budget Plus, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) for reporting, forecasting, and planning.
- Deliver impactful presentations to clients and internal stakeholders using accurate performance metrics.
- Manage regional budgets, forecast sales, and maintain expense efficiency.
- Support trade shows, marketing campaigns, and on-site product demonstrations.
- Provide sales and technical training to distributors and accounts, ensuring deep product knowledge.
Collaboration & Communication
The specialist will maintain continuous communication with internal teams, including the Director of North American Sales, VP Sales & Marketing, Regional Managers, and Operations. Externally, the role involves heavy contact with national accounts, distributors, and end-users, ensuring alignment between corporate goals and regional execution.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and sales automation systems.
- Ability to work independently, make strategic decisions, and meet deadlines.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales or sales management, ideally within the automotive service or equipment industry. Experience in managing distributor channels is highly desirable.
Travel: Frequent overnight travel by air or vehicle is required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $100,000 – $110,000 annually
- Bonus: Eligible for a discretionary performance-based bonus
- Work Arrangement: Fully Remote (based in Madison, IN region)
