The Role at a Glance
The Dealer Account Executive will play a pivotal role in expanding Caramel’s dealer channel nationwide. This position is designed for an ambitious sales professional eager to develop strong dealer partnerships, showcase innovative automotive solutions, and drive business growth. The role is remote-based in Texas but requires flexibility for travel to strengthen dealer relationships.
Core Responsibilities
- Dealer Relationship Building – Cultivate, onboard, and grow partnerships with independent auto dealers across the country.
- Sales Process Support – Guide dealers through financing, documentation, DMV processes, and Caramel’s digital tools for smooth transactions.
- Dealer Growth Management – Drive increased sales volumes while ensuring compliance with Caramel’s processes.
- Strategic Collaboration – Work with leadership teams to meet territory goals and promote repeat business.
- Product Demonstration – Deliver compelling presentations of Caramel’s offerings, both virtually and on-site.
- Continuous Learning – Contribute to product enhancements and stay ahead of industry trends.
Ideal Professional We Need
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in business development.
- Background in automotive finance (dealership or lending environment preferred).
- Strong command of Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-pressure remote environment.
- Flexibility to travel for dealer engagement and sales expansion.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with solid academic performance.
- Ability to obtain a state motor vehicle salesperson license if required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary Range: Competitive and dependent on skills, experience, and location.
