About the Opportunity
Wisevu is hiring an On-Page SEO Specialist to execute advanced SEO and AI-search optimization work across client websites in sectors including healthcare and wellness, home services, charities, and nonprofits.
This is a full-time remote position. The role requires availability during a 9 AM–5 PM Eastern Time workday, Monday through Friday, with at least seven hours of overlap.
What You’ll Do
- Own the end-to-end on-page SEO optimization process, from research and planning through implementation, quality assurance, and performance monitoring.
- Research keyword opportunities, search intent, competitor pages, and content gaps.
- Create detailed content briefs and review landing-page and service-page content for search intent, topical depth, accuracy, and SEO quality.
- Optimize metadata, headings, internal links, page structure, and content organization.
- Review technical SEO elements such as indexing, canonicalization, structured data, and crawlability.
- Implement updates directly in WordPress or coordinate changes with content writers and developers.
- Monitor performance with SEO platforms and recommend further improvements based on results and business impact.
- Collaborate with SEO Strategists and other teams to improve search visibility, user experience, and conversions.
Required Experience
Candidates need at least three years of hands-on on-page SEO experience and prior experience working in a digital marketing, advertising, or SEO agency environment.
The role requires strong skills in keyword research, search-intent analysis, competitor research, content strategy, internal linking, metadata, schema, and website architecture.
SEO Tools and WordPress
Candidates should have working knowledge of Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs or similar SEO platforms.
Hands-on WordPress experience is required, including updating and optimizing page content, metadata, headings, internal links, and basic SEO elements.
Education and Language Requirements
Wisevu requires at least C1-level advanced English proficiency.
A bachelor’s degree or higher is required in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Remote Work and Schedule
This is a fully remote position. Candidates must be available for a 9 AM–5 PM Eastern Time workday, Monday through Friday, and must provide at least seven hours of overlap with that schedule.
