Storyblok is hiring a Director of Product Marketing to lead product positioning, go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, analyst relations, website conversion strategy, and the Product Marketing team. This is a remote U.S. opportunity within Storyblok’s fully distributed organization.
The Director of Product Marketing will shape how Storyblok positions, launches, and grows its headless CMS platform, with particular focus on the U.S., UK, and EMEA markets. This is a senior, hands-on leadership position requiring both strategic product-marketing expertise and enough technical fluency to work credibly with engineers, developers, technical evaluators, and executives.
You will own and evolve Storyblok’s positioning and differentiated value proposition across audiences including developers, marketers, partners, and enterprise buyers. Responsibilities include leading customer, competitive, and market research; translating technical capabilities and product roadmaps into accurate benefits-led messaging; and maintaining consistent positioning across the website, campaigns, sales materials, analyst briefings, and customer communications.
The role owns go-to-market strategy for major product and feature launches, including phased rollout planning, launch messaging, competitive positioning, internal enablement, measurement frameworks, and adoption strategy. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Growth, Sales, Customer Success, Content, and other marketing leaders.
You will also develop Storyblok’s sales enablement program, including sales playbooks, battlecards, ROI calculators, solution briefs, demo scripts, and objection-handling resources. Sales performance data, win/loss research, and customer feedback will be used to identify areas where enablement can improve commercial outcomes.
The position leads Storyblok’s analyst and review-platform strategy, including relationships and submissions for Gartner, Forrester, and IDC evaluations, as well as growth and optimization across platforms such as G2 and Gartner Peer Insights.
Website conversion is another major responsibility. The Director will partner with Growth Marketing and Web teams to improve product positioning, conversion paths, product pages, CTAs, trial journeys, and other website experiences through ongoing testing and data-driven optimization.
As a people leader, you will guide and develop the Product Marketing team, establish priorities and ways of working, coach team members on messaging and technical fluency, conduct performance reviews, and build individual development plans.
Candidates need 8+ years of Product Marketing experience, including at least 2+ years in a leadership role, along with experience in fast-growing B2B SaaS. Strong knowledge of product-led growth, SaaS business models, product lifecycle management, GTM execution, analyst engagement, and pricing strategy is expected.
Technical fluency is particularly important. Storyblok seeks someone comfortable reading API documentation, understanding headless CMS architecture, and discussing product components, integrations, and technical trade-offs directly with engineers and technical buyers. Experience in technical product marketing, solutions engineering, technical product management, or another engineering-adjacent environment is valuable.
The role also requires AI literacy and the ability to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, and work quality while applying appropriate human judgment.
The U.S. base salary range is $184,200–$250,000 USD per year. Storyblok also provides a monthly remote-work stipend, initial home-office equipment, equipment upgrades or coworking membership, 25 days of annual leave plus local holidays, parental and sick leave, a personal-development fund, flexible schedules, and international team activities.
