What You’ll Do:
As a CJA Case Budgeting Attorney, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the effective administration of the Criminal Justice Act (CJA). Your responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing and evaluating CJA voucher requests from attorneys representing indigent defendants.
- Determining the reasonableness of expenses and ensuring compliance with CJA guidelines.
- Managing and monitoring CJA budgets.
- Providing guidance and support to attorneys on CJA billing procedures.
