Day-to-Day Impact
A Service Representative ensures customers receive an outstanding experience by answering inquiries, resolving disputes, and providing guidance on Verizon products and services. This includes handling incoming calls, assisting with service changes, troubleshooting issues, and negotiating payment arrangements for overdue bills. Success in this role hinges on striking a balance between customer satisfaction and achieving monthly sales targets, while efficiently managing multiple systems and workflows.
Skills That Stand Out
Excellent communication and empathy, consultative sales abilities, problem-solving, adaptability, multitasking, and proficiency in digital tools and systems. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills are highly valued.
Academic & Professional Background
A related Associate Degree or equivalent experience (2+ years) is preferred. Prior customer service call center experience, collections experience, and demonstrated success in sales are considered strong assets.
