What You Will Be Responsible For
In this role, you will have diverse responsibilities that touch nearly every part of the business. Your main focus will be to bring clarity, accuracy, and actionable insights to leadership.
Your responsibilities include
- Coordinating financial forecasts, budgets, and scenario planning across business areas
- Analyzing performance trends and providing senior management with insights that drive decisions
- Preparing financial reporting for the Executive Committee and Audit Committee, including input for investor updates and annual reports
- Managing cost control for corporate functions such as IT, HR, Finance, and Legal
- Leading improvements in financial processes and reporting systems, including SAP S/4HANA, Power BI, and SAP Analytics Cloud
- Measuring and interpreting foreign exchange exposure and its business impact
- Maintaining master data in close collaboration with Finance and HR teams

The Experience and Skills You Bring
We are seeking an experienced finance professional who is confident in challenging assumptions, comfortable with complexity, and motivated to create meaningful business impact.
You will bring
- A university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Around 10 years of experience in controlling, with exposure to sales, marketing, and manufacturing finance
- Strong background in financial analysis, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and business case preparation
- Experience in multinational and multi-currency environments
- Familiarity with corporate headquarters functions
- Big 4 audit experience is highly valued
- Strong ERP knowledge, preferably SAP S/4HANA, and advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and SAP Analytics Cloud
- Excellent communication skills to translate financial performance for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Fluent English, with Dutch language skills as an advantage
Your Place in the Team
You will report directly to the VP Business Control and play an integral part in the Global Business Control Leadership Team. Working closely with corporate department heads and finance teams worldwide, you will directly support the Executive Committee.
Your insights will help shape Corbion’s strategy and ensure that financial rigor supports the company’s mission of preserving what matters most.
