The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is seeking a Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist to join their Medical Asset Support Team (MAST). This is a unique opportunity for USPHS Commissioned Corps Officers to provide expert clinical support and direct patient care in a rewarding and challenging environment. What You’ll Do:

  • Provide expert clinical guidance and support to nursing staff.
  • Develop and implement nursing care plans for diverse patient populations.

  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Travel to various IHSC facilities to provide direct patient care (50% travel required).

What You Need:

  • Commissioned Corps: Must be a current USPHS Commissioned Corps Officer or Call to Active Duty (CAD) candidate.
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional clinical nursing experience, with correctional healthcare experience preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • Licensure: Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a current license.
