Role Overview

ADNOC Distribution is seeking a Senior Analyst for its Car Care division to provide in-depth analysis of business performance data, support strategic management decisions, and drive operational excellence. This role is key in translating complex data into actionable insights to optimize Car Care operations across the assigned market.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Strategic Support

  • Collaborate with Retail Management to understand business needs and processes to develop effective solutions.
  • Support strategic planning, including business cases for new initiatives, product launches, and market expansions.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis and operational feasibility studies to strengthen business cases.
  • Generate high-quality periodic and ad-hoc reports to guide senior management decisions.

Reporting & Insights

  • Prepare reports and insights aligned with corporate strategy for clear communication to management.
  • Develop presentation materials for meetings, ensuring timely, accurate, and relevant information.
  • Implement reconciliation and exception reporting processes to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.

Financial Monitoring & Cost Control

  • Track financial performance versus budgets, identifying and addressing areas of underperformance.
  • Develop standard procedures to ensure the maintenance of operational and financial objectives.

Process Improvement & Optimization

  • Identify opportunities to enhance business processes, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Apply structured problem-solving techniques to address performance barriers.
  • Support improvement projects in collaboration with the Business Process Optimization Manager.

Planning & Forecasting

  • Assist in developing 5-year business plans and operational plans.
  • Support annual operational planning, including sales targets, expansions, new concepts, products, and locations based on data insights.

Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence

  • Leverage internal and external data to identify performance gaps and drivers.
  • Monitor competitor strategies, pricing, and product offerings.
  • Provide insights on market size, growth potential, and competitive landscape in collaboration with Strategy and Market Research teams.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, IT, Data Science, or equivalent with 6 years of Retail industry experience.

Experience & Skills

  • 6 years of work experience in top-tier management consulting or Retail/Fuel station segments in strategy, business planning, or program management roles.
  • Expertise in business planning, performance analysis, financial modeling, and business intelligence tools.
  • Experience with BI dashboard development is a plus.
  • Strong multi-tasking ability under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Proactive, collaborative, goal-oriented, and innovative thinker.
  • Deep understanding of business workflows, operations, and systems.
